Live for the Present, and Cast Bronze Plaques
It’s hard to know what will happen in the future. The creation of a Palestinian state for example, could come to pass, or it could not. Time will tell based on those who think about the repercussions of their actions. Anything could happen. Today could be the last day of your life. You don’t know.
That’s why you have to think about what you’ve done so far. Is it worth telling a story about? Will people remember you when you’re gone? Will they commemorate you with bronze plaques, and name schools after you? What will you be remembered for?
How can you begin living your life so that they talk about you, want to carve your face into cast bronze plaques? With words, ideas, or money? Start today. Start living for everybody: for peace, sunsets, your neighbor, your children. Then you will realize that a love for the future is a love for the present and the past. Your actions will inspire and you will not feel afraid of death.
You will be ready to live to the fullest, to know that your actions will be for the best. And when you stop trying to live for the future, that’s when you will be remembered by cast bronze plaques.
