The Great Get Bronze Plaques
Throughout history bronze plaques have commemorated excellent individuals. Sometimes these plaques are more ornate, sometimes they are simple, bearing only a name, or sometimes they’re not plaques at all but are large statues.
To have a plaque commemorate you means that you did something great in your life. Most people aspire to have a plaque. But not everyone is excellent. Politicians, writers, actors, people of merit and great wealth are usually the ones to receive bronze plaques. The latter especially are liable to receive bronze plaques because they often give away their monies to philanthropic associations. This is a great way to be remembered. Many times, the institution will honor the philanthropist by assuming his name. Then the name becomes associated with the cause of the foundation.
This is a good way to get rid of huge amounts of money if you are a billionaire like Bill Gates or Warren Buffett. Bill Gates has his own foundation that he pours money into. You can bet that when he dies he will have many memorial plaques.
In the meanwhile, it is important to think about which people need money most badly. They are the ones who will benefit from your kindness.
