In Tribute to the Tree of Life

tree of lifeThe tree of life is represented in many cultures. It is a concept that incorporates the bonds that people have with each other, as well as an acknowledgement of the spiritual wisdom people get from living and learning. It is a sign of prosperity and hope and a reminder that we must strive to make the most out of our time.

In a tree of life all of the interconnected branches and leaves weave in and around amongst themselves forever binding to the base root of spiritual enlightenment. It symbolizes the life force becoming part of the spiritual and gaining insight. It works beautifully as decoration on a wall alongside memorial plaques or donor walls. One can look at it and admire, respect, and honor. It complements other building features such as stained glass windows, too, as it is often made of metal.

Those who pass by will reflect on their thoughts and actions. The designs are many as are the meanings but it is an everlasting symbol with a presence that cannot be ignored. Add one to your synagogue or community center today. It’s sure to make an impact on those that view it.
