Show Appreciation With Donor Walls
Great causes cannot be achieved by an individual. It takes the vision of the individual but a strength tenfold that. Add expenses, resources, and ingenuity and you get something quite spectacular. Sadly, in the end many of the hands it took to build a project are left unacknowledged. That’s just not right.
Just about any major community or medical center you walk into will have donor walls. Centers for education, religion, childcare, you name it. They all have some sort of dedication to those who helped fund and promote them. Without these important people, the places you rely on every day would not have been able to become what you now know them as.
All-in-all, we like to give praise to those in the community that helped make a difference. That’s why having a donor wall as part of the building they helped fund or donor plaques in a glass case or shelf acknowledging their participation in an activity or cause is so vital. When you give, you get back. That’s part of the process for creating a good community environment. If you encourage donors then you know you will always have someplace to turn to when you want to expand on a fantastic cause.
