Hope, Faith and Bronze Plaques
Hope is one of the most human emotions. It is closely linked to faith, although faith is stronger. Both of these virtues regard positive outcomes in the future. Dogs don’t think about the future the way we do–they may expect or hope for dinner, but they can’t hope that they don’t get a bad disease. It is important to be resolved in your faith and to continue hoping through life’s vicissitudes. While positive thinking is similar, hope and faith are much grander. It is especially important to hope and retain strong faith during tough times.
Usually fate delivers. Your hope and faith rewarded. Why? Is it the cosmic nature of the universe saying enough is enough? Or is it your own powerful energy that impresses people unconsciously over time so that you eventually get what you want? Whatever it is, hope pays off. That is why when someone finally makes a large donation to your organization, it is important to appreciate them with memorial plaques.
Bronze plaques show the people important to your organization–they show that there has been hope in the past, and it has prevailed, and that in the future it will again. How do we know? We have to have faith.
