Bronze Plaques, Memorial Plaques, Donor Walls, Tree of Life and more…
Your school is well respected and loved. It’s a rarity that studentsĀ leave saying high school was the best years of their lives. Who says that anymore? But the alumni community is very close, often visiting old teachers and making donations to keep programs running. Your donors should beĀ honored. After all, their presence when they were in school made a difference and now they are making a difference outside its walls. Shouldn’t you have donor walls set up for these fine young men and women?
It’d also really get the donations flowing in faster if in your latest alumni newsletter, you stated that new donor plaques would be affixed to a wall for the highest donors. People will secretly be competing to get their names up there. And with graduation season here, there’s more new graduates who will want to give back to the school and its community.
It’d be best to set up a donor wall as soon as possible. Not only will it motivate the alumni, it’ll inspire current students who walk past the plaques, taking in the names of the people who really made a difference in their education.
