Bronze Plaques for Park Dedications

One thing I’ve noticed growing up in New York City, we have a lot of parks. A lot. In Manhattan alone there’s a ton of great stops, Central Park, Union Square Park, Bryant Park, and a whole bunch of other littler and lesser known areas of green grass and peaceful surroundings. Where I live in Queens, we have a lot of land so much of that goes to some major park area. And each and every park I’ve ever been to always has  bronze plaques. Bronze plaques that stand at the entrance or below a statue to let you know that the park is dedicated either in memory of someone who passed, or for someone who did a great deal for the surrounding community.

That’s why bronze plaques are important. Sometimes people do great things and don’t get recognized for years. These people deserve something so beautiful to be dedicated to them. A big, open space full of nature and people enjoying themselves and all that surround them. A place that makes people happy and peaceful. There’s no greater dedication you can give to someone. Dedicating a park is saying, here’s a beautiful space that people will enjoy and will associate with you.
