Donor Plaques: Recognition for Giving Back
Giving money isn’t always easy for a lot of people. Times are tough and spending a few dollars on a cause may not be something everyone can do. It’s even more special when people take the time to donate a large sum. Those people should be recognized for being such an integral part of whatever they give to, a non-profit organization or to school programs, or maybe to build a local park. Whatever it is, you should give back to those that gave to you by honoring them with donor plaques.
Donor plaques do a few great things. One, they make a beautiful addition to your building when you set them up in their own place. They can make a park a little prettier or that hallway a little more interesting.
They also honor those who give, which is important. They’ll have their names proudly displayed as a major contributor. But it also encourages other people to donate. Who doesn’t want to see their name on the donor wall of fame? It tells people that if they do something good, they’ll get a little something in return. Donor plaques are a great way to encourage more donations.
