Bronze Plaques, Memorial Plaques, Donor Walls, Tree of Life and more…
Anyone who has run an organization that survives and functions on contributions is likely aware of the importance of thanking the donator. By treating your donators with gratefulness and appreciation, you are giving them something in return for something they expected nothing from.
Not all people, but unquestionably a significant number, take a vast amount of pleasure in receiving recognition for their charitable contributions. This is where donor walls or cast bronze plaques can make a difference. By giving these kinds of people the kind of recognition they are searching for, you are giving them reason to continue contribution.
However, giving these types of people reason to donate in the future isn’t the only reason you should properly acknowledge the people who have donated to your cause or organization. By doing so, you will be creating a positive environment, which in turn will encourage future donors.
If potential future donors get to witness how they will be valued, they will be encouraged to do the same.
Perhaps the most underrated aspect, however, is how recognition in the form of plaques and donor walls can help the relationship between giver-and-receiver thrive and grow. Someone who donates once is likely to donate again, and this likelihood will only increase if the relationship is strong. Showing acknowledgement and appreciation is a fantastic way to ensure this relationship stays healthy and continues.
